George Parker awarded 3rd place at AJ Bell England Squash Super 8 Championships

George Parker has been awarded 3rd place at the AJ Bell England Squash Super 8 Championships in Manchester following the withdrawal of fellow #teamunsquashable player Nick Wall from their 3rd/4th playoff match due to an ankle injury sustained during his final group qualifying match against another UNSQUASHABLE player Josh Masters.
Overall, George Parker enjoyed a hugely successful event with wins over Richie Fallows & Charlie Lee before being denied a place in the final by the higher seeded Declan James who eventually prevailed 11-7 11-6 11-9 in a high quality & competitive 42-minute Group A qualifying match.
Despite the disappointment of having to withdraw, Nick Wall also has enjoyed a hugely successful event, his first since joining #teamunsquashable, which included a hugely impressive 11-9 11-7 9-11 11-4 victory against top seed Daryl Selby achieved with some clean striking & impressive winners.
