George Parker wins PSA Welsh Squash Open

George Parker produced another spectacular performance to defeat Patrick Rooney 11-7 11-3 11-3 to claim the PSA Welsh Squash Open title at the Rhiwbina Recreation Club in Cardiff.
Having beaten the top seed in the semi-finals, George Parker contested his biggest final on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour to date.
George Parker, who qualified for the PSA M10 World Tour event, prevailed in 34 minutes to continue his fine run of form that has seen him contest consecutive PSA World Tour finals.
George powered his way to victory in straight games with his English compatriot unable to counter his more consistent attacking length to deliver thoroughly deserved victory that proved that he is destined for the higher echelons of the game.
