Iker Pajares Bernabeu crowned Spanish National Squash Champion

Iker Pajares Bernabeu defeated Borja Golán 12-10 11-4 8-11 11-9 in the final to win his maiden Spanish National title in Girona, Spain.
Iker played Iván Pérez in the semi-finals after his fellow UNSQUASHABLE player & Barcelona Global Squash (BGS) training partner produced the biggest upset of the tournament with an 11-4 6-11 12-10 11-3 victory over 3rd seed Bernat Jaume in the quarter-finals.
Iván Pérez however was unable to repeat his giant killing feat in the semi-finals as Iker Pajares Bernabeu produced a near perfect performance to win 11-7 11-3 11-3.
Iker's maiden Spanish National title underlines the significant progress he has made over the past twelve months having been beaten by Borja Golán in straight games the previuos year at the Castellana Sports Club in Madrid.
