Iker Pajares Bernabeu wins Copa de España Squash 2023

Spanish No.1 Iker Pajares Bernabeu defeated Robertino Pezzota 11-5 11-6 8-11 11-6 in the final of the Copa de España Squash 2023 to claim one of Spain’s leading domestic titles at the Squash Santiago Club.
In the semi-finals, the 3-time Spanish Champion and top seed for the tournament, was forced from fightback from losing the opening two games of his semi-final against fellow Barcelona Global Squash (BGS) player Edmon López before eventually triumphing 6-11 6-11 1-3 11-8 12-10 in a gruelling 93 minutes.
