James Willstrop, Rory Stewart, Lwamba Chileshe & Temwa Chileshe to feature in same half of Commonwealth Games Men’s Singles draw

All #teamunsquashable players James Willstrop, Rory Stewart, Lwamba Chileshe & brother Temwa Chileshe have all been drawn in the same half of the Commonwealth Games Men's Singles draw announced yesterday by the World Squash Federation (WSF).

James Willstrop, who will be looking to defend the Men’s Singles Gold Medal he won at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Australia will have a bye in the 1st round, before playing the winner of Christian Navas of Gibraltar & Jace Jervis of the Cayman Islands.

Rory Stewart of Scotland will play Muqtadir Sadruddin Nimji of Kenya in his opening match before an expected 2nd match against Temwa Chileshe of New Zealand who will play Jules Snagg.

Brother Lwamba Chileshe will play Feonor Siaguru of Papua New Guinea.

In the women’s draw, Faiza Zafar of Pakistan will play Chan Yiwen of Malaysia.

The Commonwealth Games, often referred to as the Friendly Games, is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations. Over 5,000 athletes will compete at the Commonwealth Games in more than 15 different sports & more than 250 events. The first, second & third-place finishers in each event receive Commonwealth Games Medals: Gold, Silver & Bronze respectively.
