Nick Wall was denied a third consecutive PSA World Tour title by Andrew Douglas of the USA who overcame the Englishman 11-6 6-11 7-11 11-1 16-14 in a tense & contentious final of the Dallas Open at Life Time Plano in Texas, USA.
The top seeded Englishman who was voted Professional Squash Association (PSA) player of the month for April was making his 3rd consecutive PSA World Tour final appearance after winning the PSA Canadian Open in Calgary & PSA Manitoba Open in April.
The young Englishman defeated Yannik Omlor of Germany 11-8 11-5 11-4 in the semi-finals after beating Aly Hussein of Egypt 11-7 11-5 11-7 in the quarter-finals & Canadian Cameron Seth 11-9 8-11 11-7 11-1 in his opening match in Texas.
