Nick Wall wins PSA Gibraltar Squash Open

Nick Wall of England defeated fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Iván Pérez of Spain 11-7 11-6 11-6 to win the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Gibraltar Squash Open at the Europa Sports Complex in Gibraltar.
Whilst Nick Wall reached the final without dropping a game following 3-0 victories over Hasnaat Farooqi, Arón Astray & Simon Herbert, Iván Pérez endured a succession of five-game battles. In the 1st round, the young Spaniard took 71 minutes to overcome Manu Paquemar of France, followed by a 107-minute quarter-final victory over fourth-seeded compatriot Hugo Varela & an epic 7-11 14-12 0-11 13-11 11-8 semi-final victory over Miles Jenkins in a 91-minute all-UNSQUASHABLE semi-final.
Both players will this week compete in the Swiss Open in Zurich where they will be joined by UNSQUASHABLE players Yannick Wilhelmi & Nero Harms of Switzerland & Stuart MacGregor of England.
