Nick Wall wins PSA Swiss Squash Open

Nick Wall defeated top seed Rui Soares of Portugal 6-11 11-7 11-9 11-1 to win the Swiss Open at the Squash Arena in Zurich & claim back-to-back Professional Squash association (PSA) World Tour titles.

The young Englishman, who last week won the Gibraltar Open, cruised to the Swiss Open final with impressive victories over Toufik Mekhalfi of France, Abhishek Pradhan of India & 2nd seed Farkas Balazs of Hungary.

The Swiss Open was also notable for fine performances from UNSQUASHABLE players Yannick Wilhelmi & Stuart MacGregor who reached the semi-finals & quarter-finals respectively.

Nick Wall has risen to a career-high 80 in the latest PSA World Rankings & will be looking for a hat-trick of titles later this week when he will return to the UK to compete in the PSA Manchester Challenger alongside fellow UNSQUASHABLE players Lwamba Chileshe, Miles Jenkins, Stuart MacGregor, Connor Sheen, Joel Arscott & Jack Mitterer.
