Rory Stewart & Douglas Kempsell selected to represent Team Scotland at the 2022 Commonwealth Games
June 10 2022
Rory Stewart & fellow #teamunsquashable player Douglas Kempsell have been selected to represent Team Scotland at the 2022 Commonwealth Games which will be held in Birmingham between the 28th July & 8th August.
Both Rory & Douglas will be making their Commonwealth Games debuts.
Douglas had narrowly missed out on the previous Commonwealth Games in Australia so was delighted to be picked for Birmingham. As the only part time player in the team, Douglas works as a chef, his selection is testament to Team Scotland’s positive approach to selection that ‘if you’re good enough you get picked.’
Rory Stewart will be competing in the Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles & Mixed Doubles at the Commonwealth Games whilst Douglas as a Doubles specialist will be competing on the Men’s Doubles & Mixed Doubles.
