Rory Stewart wins PSA St Louis Open
Rory Stewart of Scotland beat Curtis Malik of England 11-6 12-10 9-11 11-9 to win the PSA St Louis Open staged at the Missouri Athletic Club in St Louis, USA to claim his 7th career PSA World Tour title.

Top seed Rory Stewart received a bye in the 1st round of the World Tour event & started his campaign with a confident 11-8 11-8 11-3 victory over Egypt’s Karim Elbarbary which he followed-up with an equally impressive 11-8 11-8 11-3 quarter-final victory over Diego Gobbi of Brazil.

In the semi-finals, the young Scot dropped just 11 points against Egypt’s Aly Hussein, winning 11-3 11-4 11-4 in 40 minutes.

The final of the PSA St Louis Open presented by Mosby Building Arts was an all-British affair with Rory Stewart coming out on top against 4th seed Curtis Malik in 65 minutes.

Rory started strongly, winning the opening game 11-6 before the second game went to a tie-break which the Scot was crucially able to clinch 12-10. Malik fought back to claim the third game, but Rory regained the initiative to win the fourth game 11-9 to secure much deserved victory & seventh PSA World Tour title.
