Simon Herbert reaches PSA Hove Open semi-finals

Simon Herbert of England pulled-off one of the biggest wins of his career so far with a 12-10 11-9 11-6 victory over top seed Mazen Gamal of Egypt to reach the semi-finals of the PSA Hove Open stage at the Hove Fitness & Squash Centre in Brighton, England.
The win followed an equally impressive 29-minute 11-7 11-8 11-6 1st round victory over Harley Lam of Hong Kong.
In the semi-finals, Simon faced compatriot & World No.43 Ben Coleman who eventually prevailed 12-10 6-11 12-10 7-11 11-8.
Third seed Ben Coleman overcame the No.8 seed in a tumultuous 73-minute battle. Coleman won both the first & third games on tie-breaks 12-10 but saw Simon Herbert fight back on both occasions. Coleman eventually prevailed to advance to the final by winning the deciding game 11-8.
