Yannick Wilhelmi wins PSA Lorient Open

Yannick Wilhelmi produced a sensational performance to defeat Robin Gadola 11-9 11-9 13-15 11-3 in the final of the Archi Factory Lorient Open to claim his maiden Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour title at the Top Form Squash & Fitness in Lorient, France.
Following a bye in the 1st round, Yannick defeated Paul Gonzalez of France 12-10 17-15 11-5 in his opening match before overcoming another Frenchman Laouenan Loaec in the quarter-finals 12-10 11-4 9-11 11-7. In the semi-finals, the young Swiss player overcame top seed Valentin Rapp of Germany 11-6 8-11 11-6 13-11.
Iván Pérez came close to making it an all-UNSQUASHABLE final before eventually being denied by Robin Gadola who won their semi-final 11-4 11-4 10-12 11-8 in 68 minutes.
