Qatar Squash Federation QSF 4 Bronze Squash Championships
World No. 8, Tarek Momen, and France's top squash player, Victor Crouin, are set to take centre stage at the prestigious Qatar Squash Federation QSF 4 Bronze Squash Championships 4 2023 tournament, scheduled to grace the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha, Qatar from the 23rd to 27th November.

Both Tarek Momen and Victor Crouin hold fond memories of this iconic venue. Momen's triumph at the 2019-20 PSA World Squash Championships on this very court is etched in history, while Victor Crouin reached his maiden Platinum final in Doha in 2022.

Tarek Momen, who initiated his 2023-24 campaign with a resounding victory at the Windsor Squash Cup in Canada, enjoys the privilege of a first-round bye in the PSA World Tour Bronze event. In the second round, he could potentially lock horns with the likes of Egypt's Zahed Salem or Portugal's 9/16 seed, Rui Soares.

In the top half of the draw, World No.13, Fares Dessouky, anticipates a formidable encounter, pitting him against either 9/16-seeded Abhay Singh or Martin Svec of the Czech Republic. The presence of Swiss No.5 seed Dimitri Steinmann, No.8 seed Raphael Kandra, and Qatar's Wild Card entrant Ahmad Mohammad Altamimi adds further intrigue to this section of the draw.

Meanwhile, in the opposite half of the bracket, the spotlight is on Victor Crouin. He is scheduled to face one of the 9/16 seeds, Ryunosuke Tsukue, or Egypt's Yassin Elshafei in the second round. Aged 24, Victor Crouin seeks to draw inspiration from his past success in Doha, where he narrowly missed out to World No.3, Mohamed ElShorbagy, in the final of the 2022 QTerminals Qatar Squash Classic.

Seventh seed Omar Mosaad stands as a formidable contender in Crouin's quarter. The Egyptian awaits the winner between England's Simon Herbert and another Qatar Wild Card, Waleed Zaman, in the last-16 clash.

Adding further intrigue to this section of the draw, the home favourite and No. 6 seed, Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi, who reached the third round of this year's QTerminals Qatar Squash Classic 2023 before succumbing to Tarek Momen in a hard-fought battle, finds himself in the same quarter as the No.4 seed, Saurav Ghosal of India.

To secure a spot in the quarter-finals, Abdulla Al Tamimi must navigate past either Velavan Senthilkumar or Pakistan's Muhammad Asim Khan. Saurav Ghosal, on the other hand, will face either England's Ben Smith or Spain's Bernat Jaume in his opening match.
