SEBASTIAAN HOFMAN

Sebastiaan Hofman is a Dutch professional squash player who has been competing on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour since 2020.

Born and raised in Almere, Sebastiaan came through the Squash Almere Academy, one of the strongest junior programmes in the Netherlands, and a club that produced many leading Dutch talents, including Tommy Berden and Tom Lucas.

Sebastiaan developed his early game there before working under Margriet Huisman, Ronny Vlassaks and Laurens Jan Anjema and today trains under the guidance of Dutch National Team Coach Kim van de Bosch.

Sebastiaan dominated the Dutch junior age categories, collecting five national age-group titles and has since gone on to represent the Netherlands at senior international level, having made his debut at the 2026 European Team Championships on home soil at the Frans Otten Stadion in Amsterdam.

Domestically Sabastiaan represents Coulisse Twente in the Eredivisie.

Sam has developed his game on physical endurance, tactical discipline and a willingness to grind out long matches, qualities shaped by a junior career spent competing against the strongest players of his generation in the Netherlands.

Off court, Sebastiaan is the founder and Head Coach of his Hofman Squash Academy at Sportclub Match in Amsterdam, where his "Train Like a Pro" philosophy puts player autonomy and self-reflection at the centre of every session. A graduate of the Sport Marketing programme at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Sebastiaan runs the coaching, content and digital side of the academy himself. Away from squash he loves to plays basketball and play Padel with friends.

Sebastiaan Hofman joined UNSQUASHABLE in 2026 to support the brand's growth in the Netherlands and to bring player and coach perspective to product development. Working closely with the UNSQUASHABLE team, he has developed his own signature racket line.

As well as playing with UNSQUASHABLE rackets, shoes, clothing, strings, grips and luggage, Sebastiaan feeds input from his own tour career and his daily coaching work back into the research and development team, helping ensure the equipment performs as well for the club player as it does at tour level.
