Diego Gobbi reaches semi-finals of 2025 PSA ECP Open in São Paulo

UNSQUASHABLE player Diego Gobbi reached the semi-finals of the 2025 Professional Squash Association (PSA) ECP Squash Open staged at the Esporte Clube Pinheiros in São Paulo, Brazil from the 6th to 10th May.
The Brazil No.1 and three-time Brazil Squash Champion defeated compatriot Guilherme Melo 11-4 11-9 11-3 in 52 minutes in his opening match followed by a hard-fought 67-minute 12-14 9-11 11-9 11-3 11-9 quarter-final win over Juan Torres of Colombia.
The semi-finals saw the second seeded Brazilian up against eventual champion Francesco Marcantonio of Paraguay who prevailed 11-6 11-6 11-9 in 39-minutes.
