George Parker completed a distinguished junior career in 2015 by being crowned European Junior Champion & joined UNSQUASHABLE at the beginning of 2016.
In an illustrious junior career, George Parker was crowned English National Champion at U15 & U17 age groups & British National Champion at U17 & U19, having successfully represented England at all junior levels. George was also England’s No.1 ranked junior player before progressing to the senior ranks & claimed his first title on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour in 2015 at the Ciutat de Barcelona Open.
In his first tournament using UNSQUASHABLE, George was crowned British U21 Championship in Manchester, beating Harry Falconer, Emyr Evans & Patrick Rooney before overpowering compatriot Richie Fallows 11-13 11-3 12-10 11-7 in a tightly contested final.
Alongside his U21 title success, George Parker also reached the quarter-finals of the men’s championships where he extended two-time champion James Willstrop for 59 minutes before eventually losing 7-11 11-6 11-9 11-7 to the former World No.1.
In March, George defeated Patrick Rooney, Michael Harris, Tristan Eysele & Joe Green to win the Northumbria Open in Newcastle & reached the quarter-finals of the Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open in London.
At the Allam British Squash Open in Hull, George Parker showed his considerable promise by extending Mexican No.1 Cesar Salazar to four games.
George Parker experienced a meteoric rise through the PSA World Rankings throughout the 2014/15 season & has emerged as a real force for the future. George reached his first ever PSA World Tour final at the 2014 Courtcraft Nick Matthew Academy Steel City Open in Sheffield & the following year reached the finals of the Wood Open in Kriens, Switzerland, the Kent Open in Maidstone & Madeira International Open in Portugal.
