Oliver Jones Wins 2025 PSA Essex Open

UNSQUASHABLE player Oliver Jones of Wales claimed his maiden PSA title at the 2025 PSA Essex Open staged at The Connaught Club Chingford, London.
The young Welshman opened his campaign with an 11-9 11-1 11-6 victory over Sam Henden followed by a 12-10 11-5 11-7 quarter-final win over Matt Bartley.
In the semi-finals, the reigning Welsh Junior Champion was forced to dig-deep to overcome Diego Pita 11-8 7-11 8-11 11- 8 11-2, before eventually claiming the title with an equally impressive 11-8 2-11 12-14 11-7 11-1 victory over James Averill in the final.
