Iván Pérez reaches final of 2025 PSA Dominicana Open

Despite another impressive performance on the all-glass show court erected inside the Shopping Agora Mall in Santo Domingo, UNSQUASHABLE player Iván Pérez was eventually denied in the final of the 2025 PSA Dominicana Squash Open by fourth seed Matias Knudsen of Colombia who triumphed 11-1 11-8 8-11 11-9 in 80 minutes.
The young Spaniard enjoyed a spectacular run to the final with a succession of wins over higher ranked opponents.
Iván opened his campaign with a 1st round victory over former USA No.1 Christopher Gordon, followed by an equally impressive straight-games victory over 7th seed Andrés Herrera of Colombia in the 2nd round. In the quarter-finals, Ivan defeated 2nd seed Tom Walsh of England in five games lasting 83 minutes, which was followed by a clinical three-game semi-final vicoity over 8th seed and former World Junior No.1 Sam Todd of England.

UNSQUASHABLE player Iván Pérez of Spain produced another superb performance at the Shopping Agora Mall in Santo Domingo to reach the final 2025 PSA Dominicana Squash Open with clinical 41-minute 11-4 11-2 11-4 victory over Sam Todd of England. The young Spaniard will face Matias Knudsen in the eagerly anticipated final after the Colombian benefited from the retirement of Alejandro Enriquez of Guatemala mid-way through their semi-final.
