Rory Stewart reaches final of 2025 Scottish National Championships

UNSQUASHABLE player Rory Stewart reached the final of the 2025 DYNAMIK Scottish National Squash Championships staged at Inverness Tennis & Squash Club from the 16th to 18th May.

The Scotland No.2 and tournament second seed was again denied a maiden Scottish Squash National Championship title by top seed Greg Lobban who he faced in the 2024 final at the Newlands Lawn Tennis & Squash Club in Glasgow.

Despite reaching the final without dropping a game, Rory was beaten in the eagerly anticipated final by the Scottish No.1 11-7 11-7 6-11 11-8 in 64 minutes.

In his opening match, Rory defeated Tom Naylor 11-5 11-5 11-4 followed by an 11-7 11-9 11-5 quarter-final wins over Finlay Scott and an 11-7 11-4 11-6 semi-final victory over Jamie Henderson.
