Hong Kong, China to host combined 2024 WSF World Team Squash Championships

The Hong Kong Football Club is set to make squash history by concurrently hosting the World Squash Federation (WSF) Men’s and Women’s World Team Squash Championships from 9th to 15th December 2014, marking the first time in the tournament's history. Egypt, the reigning champions in both categories, will defend their titles. This prestigious event will take place on the world-class facilities of the Hong Kong Football Club.
Established in 1886, the Hong Kong Football Club is a revered squash destination, having previously hosted major events, including the inaugural WSF World Doubles Championships in 1997 and the 2014 WSF World Masters Championships. Boasting three ASB glass courts, four traditional squash courts, and a breathtaking all-glass show squash court, the club promises an unparalleled experience for players and spectators alike.
As the global governing body for squash, the World Squash Federation manages prominent events like the World Team Squash Championships, World Junior Squash Championships, World Doubles Squash Championships, and World Masters Squash Championships. With close to 150 members and around 50,000 squash courts globally, the WSF operates through five regional squash federations, fostering the growth and development of squash worldwide.
