Ambre Allinckx wins Open Feminin du Jeu de Paume in Paris

Ambre Allinckx continued her fine form since returning to the PSA World Tour following an extended break through injury by winning the Open Feminin du Jeu de Paume in Paris.
The former World No.68 from Switzerland came into the tournament as the No.8 seed & collected her third PSA World Tour title with a succession of commanding performances.
In the 1st round, Ambre got the better of Kincso Szasz of Hungary in straight games, winning 11-2 11-4 11-3, followed by a 30-miniute 11-4 6-11 11-2 11-2 quarter-final win over Ella Galova of France.
In the semi-finals, Ambre defeated Irish No.1 & 2nd seed Breanne Flynn 11-7 11-6 11-3 in just 20 minutes & collected the title with another 20-minute victory in the final, beating home favourite Taba Taghav 11-5 11-3 11-8.
Fellow #teamunsquashable player Klara Moller was unable to make it an all-UNSQUASHABLE final after being denied in the semi-finals by Taba Taghavi who closed-out a hard-fought 60-minute 8-11 11-8 11-8 9-11 11-8 victory.
