Diego Gobbi crowned 2024 Copa do Brazil Champion

Brazil No.1 Diego Gobbi was crowned 2024 Copa do Brazil Squash Champion in his hometown of Sāo Paulo with victory over compatriot Murilo Penteado.
In the opening round, the top seed defeated Marco Antonio Delgado 11-2 11-3 11-3 which he followed with an equally comprehensive 11-4 11-1 11-6 quarter-final win over Ben Windle.
In the semi-finals, the two-time Brazilian Champion recorded another straight-game victory, overcoming Vinicius Berbel 12-10 11-9 11-6, before claiming the title with an 11-4 11-2 5-11 11-2 win over Murilo Penteado.
