Jahangir Khan receives Pakistan Civil Award for services to squash

President Dr. Arif Alvi conferring the Pakistan Civil Award of Nishan-i-Imtiaz upon Mr. Jahangir Khan in recognition of his services to sports (squash) at the Investiture Ceremony on Pakistan Day, held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad.

Jahangir Khan is the first ever sports person in 75 years to receive the highest award bestowed in Pakistan.

Universally recognised as the world’s greatest ever squash player, during his distinguished career Jahangir Khan was ranked World No.1 and won the World Open six times and the British Open a record ten times.

From 1981 to 1986, Jahangir was unbeaten and during that time won 555 consecutive matches – the longest winning streak by any athlete in top-level professional sport as recorded by Guinness World Records.

Jahangir Khan used UNSQUASHABLE throughout his record-breaking career and remains an integral part of the brand.
