Lwamba Chileshe wins Auckland Open

Lwamba Chileshe won the PSA Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Open in New Zealand with a 10-12 11-4 11-6 11-7 victory over his brother & fellow #teamunsquashable & SquashXL player Temwa Chileshe in the final at the North Shore Squash Club.
The Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour Challenger crown follows Lwamba’s victory at the Barfoot & Thompson Panmure Open where he defeated younger brother Temwa Chileshe in the final.
Currently ranked a World No.1 in the PSA World Rankings, Lwamba overcame Australian Benjamin Ratcliffe in the second round, before then beating Malaysia’s Hafiz Zhafri & Amir Amirul to reach the final.
In a repeat of the same stage in Panmure seven days earlier, Lwamba took on his younger sibling for the title & despite falling behind as Temwa took the first game on a tie-break 12-10, rallied to win next three games comfortably & secure his second title of the season.
