Ronald Palomino wins PI Constructora IlI Open Colombiano La Pradera

Ronald Palomino defeated fellow Colombian José Santamaria 11-6 9-11 11-3 11-4 in the final of the PI Constructora IlI Open Colombiano La Pradera to claim his first title since returning to the PSA World Tour after sustaining an Achilles injury last November.

The 24-year-old, who joined UNSQUASHABLE upon his resumption to the international squash circuit, produced a succession of impressive wins staged at Club Residencial La Pradera, Bogotá in Colombia, including a 6-11 11-3 11-2 11-1 semi-final victory over top seed Edgar Ramirez.

In the quarter-finals, Ronald overcame fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Juan Torres in straight games, having beaten another Colombian, Joaquin Fernandez, in the 1st round.
