Rory Stewart recognised by PSA as one of top 10 PSA World Tour players to watch

On the eve of the new PSA World Tour season kicking off next week at the CIB Zed Open in Egypt, the Professional Squash Association have recognised Rory Stewart as one of the top 10 players to watch next season.

Rory is currently at a career-high ranking of World No.65 & already has six PSA World Tour titles to his name.

The 26-year-old Scotsman’s rose to prominence at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham earlier this month where he defeated England’s World No.23 Patrick Rooney & pushed fellow #teamunsquashable player & former World No.1 James Willstrop to five games in the quarter-finals. In the Men’s Doubles, Rory claimed a Bronze Medal with partner Greg Lobban who he narrowly lost to in the finals of this year’s Scottish National Championships.

A succession of recent PSA World Tour titles, including the Scottish Circuit Event, Novum Energy Texas Open & Liverpool Cricket Club Open, have seen Rory climb the world rankings & poised for a crack at reaching the top 50 over the coming months.
