Nick Wall wins PSA Manchester Northern Squash Open

Nick Wall defeated 3rd seed Emyr Evans of Wales 11-7 8-11 5-11 11-8 11-5 in the final of the 2024 PSA Worker Bee Manchester Northern Squash Open at The Northern Club in Manchester, England.

The top seeded Englishman reached the final without dropping a game, defeating Elijah Thomas of New Zealand 11-8 11-8 11-9 in his opening match, Robert Downer 11-6 11-2 11-6 in the quarterfinals and Sam Osborne-Wylde 11-9 11-8 11-6 in the semi-finals.

Lwamba Chileshe exited the tournament in the 2nd round, whilst fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Will Salter was beaten 11-8 13-15 8-11 11-6 11-7 by Scotland's Alasdair Prott in a hard-fought 59-minute 1st round match.

Owain Taylor was forced to withdraw from his 2nd round match through injury.
