NICK WALL
Nick Wall is one of the most exciting young English talents on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour with a distinctive brand of aggressive and attacking squash.
The young lefthander joined UNSQUASHABLE in 2021 following a successful junior career in which he was consistently ranked English No.1 across all junior age groups, as well as successfully representing England at all junior age groups.
Winner of 14 Professional Squash Association (PSA) titles
England No.1 in all junior age groups (U13 to U19)
3-time British Junior Champion
2-time French Junior Open Champion
3-time European Junior Team Champion
European Junior Team Captain
British Junior Open U19 Runner-up
U19 World Junior Team Runner-up
Nick Wall joined the PSA World Tour in the latter part of 2016, making the quarter-finals of the first event, the PSA Grimsby & Cleethorpes Squash Open, and a year later at the same event reached his first PSA final.
Following four PSA Satellite wins (2017 Blade Cambridge Squash Open, 2018 Ken Cotton Memorial Squash Open, 2018 Carlisle Squash Open and 2019 York Squash Classic) the young Englishman claimed his maiden PSA World Tour victory in 2019 at the PSA Vegas Squash Open, beating Faraz Khan in the final, before his progress was curtailed due to the six-month suspension of the PSA World Tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After joining #teamunsquashable in 2021, Nick Wall won three consecutive PSA World Tour events to elevate himself inside the world’s top 100 for the first time.
His first win with UNSQUASHABLE came at the PSA Gibraltar Squash Open, where he beat fellow #teamunsquashable player Iván Pérez in the final, followed by the PSA Swiss Squash Open and the PSA Northern Joe Cup in his next two tournaments. A fourth win of the year came in his final appearance of 2021 at the PSA Lockerbie Squash Challenge in Scotland.
2022 started in the same vein with Nick Wall winning the PSA Doncaster Cup in England, followed by wins at the PSA Canadian Squash Open & PSA Qualico Manitoba Squash Open in Canada.
At the conclusion of the 2021/2022 season, Nick Wall was recognised by the PSA as one of the best ‘Breakthrough Performers’ of the past twelve months having also been voted PSA Men’s Challenger Tour Player of the Month for October 2021 & April 2022.
In September 2023, Nick overcame fellow Englishman Nathan Lake in the final of the Charlottesville Open 2023 to win his 13th Professional Squash Association career title and the most significant of his career to date. Following his win at the Charlottesville Open, Nick was named as the PSA Challenger Tour Player of the Month for September, as voted for by squash fans on social media.
Following a frustrating end to the 2023-24 season, with his participation on the PSA World Tour was restricted by injury, the young Englishman showed a welcome return to fitness and form by reaching the final of PSA Charlottesville Open where he was eventually denied by Pakistan No.1 Muhammad Asim Khan at Boar’s Head Resort in Virginia, USA.
Nick ended 2024 by winning the PSA Worker Bee Manchester Northern Squash Open held at The Northern Club in Manchester, England.
