Paul Walters, Founder and Chief Executive of internationalSPORTgroup™ Limited, specialises in all aspects of sports management, including contract and endorsement negotiation and management, sponsorship evaluation and implementation, product development, sourcing and merchandising, strategic business planning, sales and distribution, event management, hospitality, career planning, licensing, marketing and promotions and public relations.

Paul has over thirty years experience in sports marketing with several leading sports companies, including Formula Sport (licensees of the Inter footwear and Grays of Cambridge trade marks), Wilson Sporting Goods, Mizuno Corporation, and Dunlop Slazenger Group (DSG).

Formula Sport International Ltd (1986 – 1990)
Brand Manager – Grays of Cambridge
During a successful tenure with Formula Sport International Ltd, a newly formed company that had acquired the “Inter” footwear brand and the world-wide trademark for “Grays of Cambridge” racketsport products, Paul’s role and responsibilities encompassed all aspects related to Grays of Cambridge product development, sourcing and commercial sponsorship.

Wilson Sporting Goods (1990 – 1991)
Product Manager – Racketsports Europe:
Wilson, a recognised as a market leader of innovative high-tech racketsport, golf, and team sport products.

Mizuno Corportation (1991 – 1996)
Head of Racketsports, Europe:

Responsible for launching and maintaining a profitable position for Mizuno tennis in Europe across equipment, footwear & apparel product categories.

Dunlop Slazenger Limited (1996 to 2003)
Group Group Controller, Squash & Badminton:

Responsible for establishing a highly profitable dominant position within squash and badminton, and ensuring that the Dunlop, Slazenger and Carlton brands deliver consistent high returns to the Group from the categories.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer:
Paul formed internationalSPORTgroup™, formerly iSPORTmarketing™, in January 2004. As Chief Executive, Paul’s role is to formulate and deliver the company’s short, medium and long-term strategic marketing and financial business plans, including the management of employees and third-party contractors across the company’s full spectrum of activities, including events, ticketing sales, print and web-based media, player management and marketing/management consultancy.
