Lucas Serme reaches quarter-finals of PSA Cannon Kirk Gillen Markets Irish Squash Open

Lucas Serme of France was beaten 11-8 10-12 8-11 5-11 by 3rd seed Shahjahan Khan of the USA in a closely-contest quarter-final at the PSA Cannon Kirk Gillen Markets Irish Open at the Fitzwilliam Club in Dublin.

In the second round, the 2-time French Champion defeated Faraz Khan, also of the USA, 11-3 9-11 11-1 9-11 11-4 in 61 minutes.

Both George Parker & Rory Stewart suffered defeats in the 2nd round of Ireland’s premium squash event, with Rory Stewart beaten by top seed Eain Yow Ng of Malaysia & George Parker denied by former World No.7 Mohamed Abouelghar of Egypt.

Rory Stewart of Scotland defeated Ireland’s Sean Conroy 11-5 12-10 11-9 in 33 minutes in the 1st round of the PSA Cannon Kirk Gillen Markets Irish Open.

The Scottish No.2 will join #teamunsquashable players George Parker of England & Lucas Serme of France in the 2nd round of the PSA World Tour event being staged at the Fitzwilliam LTC in Dublin.
