Todd Harrity beaten in quarter-finals of 2023 U.S. National Squash Championships

Following impressive wins over Quinlan Jeudy & Yassin Amir on the opening day of the U.S. National Championships at the spectacular Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center in Philadelphia, Todd Harrity was denied a semi-final place by Spencer Lovejoy.
The four-time U.S. National Champion cruised to a comfortable 11-2 11-3 11-2 victory over Quinlan Jeudy in his opening match, followed by an equally clinical 11-6 11-4 11-4 victory over Yassin Amir, but was unable to prevent a surprise quarter-final exit at the hands of Spencer Lovejoy who registered his first win over the higher-ranked former four-time champion.
Lovejoy lost his two previous matches against Todd Harrity last year, in the quarter-finals of U.S. National Squash Championships & in the 1st round of the U.S. Squash Open, but came back from a game down to eventually win 3-11 12-10 11-6 11-3 in fifty-one minutes to reach the semi-finals of the U.S. National Squash Championships for the first time.
