UNSQUASHABLE player Will Salter enjoyed a memorable July, winning two PSA events from three consecutive finals, including his maiden PSA title at the Mote Open in Maidstone. The young Englishman defeated Heston Malik to win the PSA Mote Open in Maidstone & claimed his second PSA title just two weeks later with victory over Jared Carter in the final of the PSA Bexley Open to reverse his loss over the same opponent in the previous weeks PSA Beckenham Open.

New Zealander Temwa Chileshe also tasted success on the PSA World Tour in July by winning first PSA Challenger Tour title. Temwa won the biggest title of his career with an impressive straight-game victory over Rowan Damming of the Netherlands in the final of the PSA City of Greater Shepparton International in Australia. The two finalists had met two weeks earlier at the PSA Harcourts KDRE Morrinsville Open where the Dutchman beat the New Zealander in a close four-game semi-final victory. Temwa also reached the semi-finals of the PSA Victorian Open at the Mulgrave Country Club in Melbourne where he was denied by Australian top seed Rex Hedrick.

Brother Lwamba Chileshe also enjoyed a successful July, producing a succession of impressive performances to reach the final of the New Zealand National Championships before being denied by top seed, New Zealand No.1 & former World No.1 Paul Coll.

July also saw Jahangir Khan back on court at the inauguration ceremony for the opening of an all-glass show court at the Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan RKJK Squash Complex in Karachi, Pakistan. Since its opening in June 1991, the Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan RKJK Squash Complex has hosted many leading international tournaments & the addition of a further all-glass show court supports its ongoing ambition to stage future leading PSA World Tour events.
