The 2025 CIB Egyptian Squash Open will be staged at the iconic Great Pyramid of Giza from the 12th to 19th September and will mark the opening Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Squash Tour Diamond event of the 2025-26 squash season.

This year’s CIB Egyptian Squash Open will see early-round action hosted at Club O West, with the later stages once again played against the dramatic backdrop of the last surviving Ancient Wonder of the World. It will be the first time since 2022 that the tournament culminates on the famous Giza Plateau, a setting that has become synonymous with squash’s most memorable moments.

Defending champions Mostafa Asal and Nour El Sherbini, both of Egypt, will look to retain their titles after triumphing over fellow Egyptians Ali Farag and Nouran Gohar in last year’s finals. A total of 96 male and female athletes will compete for the coveted trophy, with the prize purse set at US$712,000, equally split between the men’s and women’s draws in line with PSA’s commitment to gender parity.

As one of the sport’s most visually spectacular events, the CIB Egyptian Open once again promises a world-class showcase of squash at one of the planet’s most historic locations.

The 2025 CIB Egyptian Open Squash Championships will be staged in Egypt from the 12th to 19th September.
